With a strong belief in businesses being the key to creating sustainable solutions for the world’s most pressing social and environmental problems, The Buy Good, Feel Good show is the ultimate annual expo in Toronto, Canada for accessing fair trade and socially responsible goods.
Every year, the team sponsors one young vendor through their Young Social Entrepreneur Contest, shedding light on youth leading innovative organizations. The opportunity provides an incredible platform for young social entrepreneurs and innovators to showcase their venture, share their mission and engage with thousands of potential customers.
So, how does it work?
Young social entrepreneurs between the ages of 16 and 29, leading businesses that address either a social or environmental challenge can apply by September 29th. After a shortlist of candidates are put together and announced on October 20th, video submissions showcasing your venture are to be created and submitted on January 5th. This is where the community gets involved, voting on their favourites all January long, with the winner announced on February 2nd.
The social entrepreneur contest winner receives a complimentary booth at the 2018 Buy Good, Feel Good Expo, a MainStage speaking opportunity, a full year feature on buygoodfeelgood.com, and 4 months of promotion on their social media.
Good luck!
