Monica Meng’s deep-seated conviction revolves around the principle of doing well while doing good. Her professional journey commenced within the realm of finance, marked by an analyst program at Citigroup.
She traversed through diverse roles in product management, sales, and operations across teams that included private equity services, fund services, and supplier finance.
Embarking on an educational tangent, Monica segued into the role of a preschool teacher in Manhattan, subsequently pivoting to education technology. The realm of ed tech startups, including Nomster Chef, ChitChat VR, and Knovva Academy, bore witness to her prowess in business development, marketing, instructional design, and UX research, including a stint at Google.
These diverse experiences converged to fuel Monica’s co-founding of Good Capital, where her efforts are channeled towards advocating socially responsible investing and bolstering financial empowerment, particularly for women.
Monica’s academic journey encompasses a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her presence has resonated through podcast features such as the Type A Podcast and How to Save the World, along with her role as a workshop leader at Outwild.
