About Ty

In November 2020, Ty joined the team to build and launch On Deck Scale (ODS), a 6-month program designed to help talented founders scale as leaders.

Prior to On Deck, he founded Denali Summit Partners to help early-stage founders as a fractional leader, and was an active member of both South Park Commons and the On Deck Fellowship (ODF6).

In 2012, Ty co-founded Bright Funds, a leading enterprise SaaS platform for corporate philanthropy that has facilitated more than $100M in philanthropic transactions around the globe.

Bright Funds technology powers the employee giving, volunteerism and corporate grant-making programs for tens of thousands of employees at dozens of leading companies.

Bright Funds helps companies realize the true potential of a comprehensive corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy that takes into account the demands and expectations of a new generation of donors.

He also previously co-founded and helped build OutServe into the largest LGBT employee resource group in the world serving thousands of U.S. military personnel.

OutServe played a pivotal role in the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
